Front Cap Insulation

Has anyone put insulation into the front cap? Replaced the speakers recently and found there was none in there. Wondering what the best method would be, only options are to stuff it through the speaker holes or to start removing interior panels. Obviously panel removal would be best, just looking for advice/experience doing this. Thanks

There aren't a lot of truck camper owners on the site. You could try selecting Registry (near the top) and then Advanced and searching for owners with your model. You could then contact them with direct messages.

Admittedly, this is imperfect. The enrollment is confusing and leads users to put their model on the wrong field, etc., and many seem to get impatient and skip it or do a slapdash job.

There is only one FR division, that makes truck campers and that is Palomino. And I don't think think that Palomino sells as many units, as better known truck camper manufacturers, like Arctic Fox, Lance or Bigfoot.
So this section is bound to be less active.
You could do a search in the Truck Camper section, on your model number. Then PM those that have one.

I have been wondering the same thing. I have a HS1910 and the heat and light coming in from the front window is too much. The shade provided is less than desirable however the casing around the window is even less than that. I haven’t removed it yet to check behind, it seems there is much empty space. My dealer said I might be able to remove the casing around the window and use spray foam insulation. When I have a chance to get to it I’ll let you know what solution I decide on.

Be careful with spray foam insulation. It can expand so much it bulges the wall surfaces.

They do make non expanding spray foam. I haven't used it, just saw it on the shelf.
