In that case, the camper is being used as a mobile meth lab.

Well, you may have snapped a picture of that truck (I didn't see the license plate), but you didn't snap that picture. It's in my iPhone, snapped just north of Houston, TX. If it is the same truck/camper, he sure is making his way around.

I thought I had more than one picture but couldnít find any. I donít know how that thing gets around with what appears to be excessive aft CG.

truck camper

The straps are holding the new roof down long enough for the liquid nails to dry

Iíve been there as well. Not a redneck but just wanted the experience. (No monies, young, and dumb)
40+ years later we have 2016 Rockwood 8289WS 5th wheel and pulling with a 2018 2500 Cumins. Started out with a F150 not safe. But 48 years ago I was a accident waiting to happen.

Love the roof rack clamped to the gutter that holds the Fifth Wheel hitch.

I just read an article about that VW rig restoral. The mount is bolted through the roof frame structure. There's a cool video. They can turn the car around under the fifth wheel and push the camper into their site.

I would guess the tie down brackets in the bed of the truck.. Ours have both front and rear tie down brackets.
