lift system issues

2016 Palomino Backpacker. Driver's side lift mechanism does not allow it to lift all the way up - it's about 6" short on that front corner. Anyone had experience with this and can advise how to repair it? Access to mechanisms seems pretty tough.

Is it just that one jack that doesn't extend all the way?

Does it make any kind of strange noise or movement when (or just before) it stops?

Does it retract all the way?

It seems to be just the one - driver's side front. I think the motor is working as I see it going part way up but then stops before the others. No really odd noises.

That seems like something is binding the leg in the tube before it extends all the way.

Have you tried manually extending it to see if it was binding or would go all the way manually?

I've tried using a 2x4 to push it up from the outside and it sags back down. Yup - the inner arm is not fully extending for some reason.
