Real Lite 1608 solar add on

I have a 2021 Real Lite SS 1608 with the Badlands package which includes a roof mounted 100 W panel and controller. I contacted Forest River to get specs on the panel, but haven't received a response. I'd like to add a portable panel, but there isn't any relevant info in the owners package. Currently looking at the 200 W Renogy folding panel.

1). Anybody know what the Vmp rating is on these Badland included roof mounted panels?

2). Can you just alligator clip a portable panel into the external battery posts, (are these connected to the solar controller)? OR:

3). Will I need to install a combine box to utilize both panels? Do you run a separate controller for the portable panel?

Over my head in the world of solar power and batteries! Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I'm not sure what you have, but you can run a separate system in parallel with no trouble. The Renogy kit has it's own controller. Just hook it up independently with the battery clips to augment what you have as an easy option.

X2

As the Captain says, just hook the portable solar to the battery via the clips that are part of the portable system.
