SS1200 roof motors; manual operation

Has anyone operated their roof motors manually? I'm a little confused by the process. Apparently you use a cordless drill and a flexible shaft (supposed to come with the camper).

I only see a port for the flexible shaft on one of the motors (the left front). Does this operate all 4?

This is an important issue for me...I do a bit of cold weather boondocking, and I need to understand the manual backup in case I ever run the battery down too far.

This is one of my spares. Remove the cover and look in the small end, there will be a square socket down inside. I did not have the tool so I ground one down from small rod and chucked it in the drill. Stick it in there and run it up and down provided your gear end is in good shape. If all 4 quit you have to crank each one an inch or 2 and move to the other to keep them even.

I still need to figure out how to access the portal for each individual motor. They don't appear to be very accessible.
