2008 Rockwood Roo 232 Bed Door Leaks

I see a lot of people talking about the bunk doors for the beds leaking. Finding something that looks nice is my biggest complaint and something that will last long term.

So many things on the internet. Does anyone have any suggestions that are rock solid?

I have some delame on the front door as well which it appears is an issue of these campers as well.

Not liking finding out how bad I didn't do my homework before I purchased. Can anyone tell me its gonna be ok?

Yeah the thing about campers and manufacturers and dealers is warranties are not what the seem to be. It’s not like with cars. You have to be handy and just fix some of the stuff on your own because it’s leas hassle.

My 2010 Roo had what they called “pinch welt” on the edges of the bunk doors. It was a white weather stripping with metal inside that went over the edges and you pinch it to secure it on the door. If its in good condition and the mating surface is perfectly flat it would probably seal but in my case the guys at the factory installed the screws in the bunk door frames crooked so the screw heads prevented a perfect seal.

Here’s a thread that might help.

The logo is different but the door seal system looks about the same as on my 2010 Roo. There is the white pinch welt around the door perimeter and a black bulb seal inside that.

Yeah they changed them after that because mine has the gasket on the camper not the door.
