2017 vibe 288rls fan sound

Pulled our new camper home yesterday and while hooked to the truck, heard a sound like a fan running from around the furnace area. Unhooked the camper from the truck and plunged into the house and still heard this running. The furnace and hot water heater lays under the bed on this model. What can this be ? Is this normal.

Doesn't mean battery is good....Or charged.....Pull a cable off it or, turn battery disconnect off, if you have one, and see if noise quits.....These things set on lots without being hooked up

Have you thought about the refrigerator fan?? We have a 2015 Rockwood Signature and we had each of the refrigerator fans replaced! If it (refrig) and located near the furnace could be the problem?????? Furman Walter, Anderson, SC

It was the inverter for the refridgerator that I had to manually turn off in my 2016 Vibe. It is located in the front storage compartment.

Our unit hands a 110v ac frige that has a dedicated inverter to run it off the batteries. When you plug into camp power you have to turn the inverter off. We didn't the first night and the inverter fan kept us awake.

Ok called the rv place where we got the unit, they state it's the inverter for the fridge. But when I plug the unit in shouldn't the inverter shut off. When I'm not running on the battery

There is a manual switch on the invertor itself and then probably another on the unit control center. It needs to be on when not on a shoreline if you plan on keeping the fridge cool.
