A/C not cooling

Just using our Class C Forest River for first time this year due to it being in shop for roof leak damage. A/C isn’t cooling. In N GA. Pretty hot this week. Put on high fan cool. Husband states compressor running. Still 91 inside after almost 4 hours running. Any suggestions. Filter not dirty..

You should see approximately a 20 degree differential. If not, well I hate to say it...

2 years old with 3800 miles hardly used. A/C should not be bad.

If you have ducts running through the ceiling, it is possible that they were damaged/disconnected during the roof repair.

Also, call the shop that did the roof work and ask if the A/C unit was removed during the process.

If you’re able, research some topics about servicing your AC unit.

It’s very simple and inexpensive. I had a cooling issue with mine, and after servicing my rooftop unit, and cleaning the condenser and evaporator coils, the problem was solved.

You’d literally be amazed the crap that builds up on those cooling fins. A tip...... bring some wasp spray on the roof with you! I had to jump off my camper to get away from the swarm of wasps I encountered under the AC shroud.

The first thing I'd do is open the filter grill on the ceiling and look up inside with a flashlight.
Look for ice on the cooling fins or dirt build up on those fins. If they're dirty, clean them. If they are frozen, you've got low coolant.
If low coolant, you'll have to replace the rooftop unit. I've heard you can get the unit serviced, but never came across anybody able to do it.
If the fins aren't dirty or iced over, then go up on the roof and remove the cowl. Check to see if the fan is blowing and that the fins are clean, etc.
