A/C replacing

I need to replace the Dometic 13.5 A/C unit. I have been told that I can either use the Brisk 11 or the newest FreshJet 15.0 either one will match up fine. Has anyone done this or have any input on this.

As far as mounting, they are the same. Just be aware that you will need to buy a new ADB (Air Distribution Box) for the new unit if you change models.

I cannot comment on brand.

I bought through eTrailer and they helped me find a unit that was a match to my distribution box and plug compatible.

As far as replacing, the hardest part was getting the new one onto the roof without damage. I used a ladder and slid it up with one person below and above.

The seal is just pressure, four bolts that need to be tightened and compress a gasket.

You will have to gently remove the old one, I used a plastic scraper to release the old gasket. Lots of cleanup prior to installing the new one.

Nothing was that hard, mine was plug compatible with the old so no wiring.
