Ac btu
Hi. We just bought a Rockwood 2604SS. Our a.c. is by Airxcel, model # 48254A866, serial # 091021197. Can anyone tell me how to find the BTU on this model?

Looking at their web site, it would be a 15,000 BTU

I remember a big discussion about torquing the air conditioner to the roof (compressing the foam gasket). No one believed me when I said my AC had yellow tabs that were to be used to determine the correct compression of the gasket. The attached PDF below, clearly shows the tabs in the gasket area.

It was a tough week. Lots of bad vibes bouncing around the ether.
I am a pilot, thick skin.
Some folks say: Dense

That's the way I took it...but whatever ya'll get out of that is fine by me, I suppose. There was another mean spirited comment earlier that I read by another poster; and it just got under my skin that folks had to vent their frustrations on here- I won't mention their name, but they cleared their mistake up since. Just my personal observation, and frankly, now that I can reflect back on it, none of MY business, actually!! Randy

I had the same problem with mine. I ordered the upgraded AC (15k BTU) but all the paperwork with the camper had the stock 13.5k as "installed"
I was quite "put out" and got no help from the dealer; who assured me I had the correct AC unit installed but could not tell me how I could check without climbing up there and copying the numbers off the unit.
So I did. And it was. But could have fooled me. The "manual" that came with the camper was for the stock unit and not the Coleman Mach 15 that was installed.
