Ac upgrade

I have a 2015 Wildwood 29fkbs (35') travel trailer. It has a 13,500 BTU Dometic AC. Not wired for 2nd AC (30 amp). We love the layout, but the AC struggles to keep the unit cool. Needless to say I wish it was a 15,000 BTU. Even better 2 AC units and 50 amp service. Would upgrading to a 15,000 BTU unit help much? Seems to be the only feasible option. Looking at the Dometic Brisk II 15,000 BTU unit.

I have a flagstaff 831 fkbss that had the same issue,my unit was a 15000 and would not keep the camper cool in hot 90+ days, after posting on this forum and doing some research ibought and installed a 13500 in the bedroom which is in the rear, removed the roof vent, added wood blocking to help strenthn the roof, bought wire mould ran wiring across ceiling down wall, bought a 115v flush mount receptecal put it next to my 30a ,at camp grounds I get 50 service, they have 50,30,20 outlets and I plug into the 30 and 20,the unit I choose is a energy saver that draws 10a full load,i don't have pics but I could take some.pm me if intrested

I have a 2016 VLite 30WIKSS (35', one Coleman Mach 15,000 btu ac) with 30 amp. roof was built to add a second a/c but not wired. I called Coleman and they recommended adding a 13,500 btu, non-ducted unit. I snaked 10 gauge wire to a female reciprocal I installed. Now I plug in the a 25', 10 gauge extension cord. First test was last week in the Smoky Mountains in 90 degree heat. Worked great!
Did the install in about 3 hours. Most of the time was removing the existing vent and removing the factory caulking.

Beleive it or not, my unit does not have a roof vent in the bedroom because of the slide.[emoji31] Not an option for me.
