Air filter change

I have a Georgetown with a Ford V10. How does the air filter housing come off so I can replace it?

Not having one of these, but having worked on lots of different cars and trucks over the years, it will depend. (If they didn't use a Ford part, it will depend even further.)

Is the housing round/conical or a squarish box? The round one usually has a big over-center clamp in the middle that holds the housing together. The square one would probably have 6-8 hold down clamps around the top lip.

air filter

It is square and has three clamps on the front. I can't feel any on the back side.

As I remember, either push the housing back or pull forward to release the back side.

If like my Ford it is a 3 step process:
Undo the 3 latches
Remove the small red electrical connector to the left of the filter. There is a sliding lock mechanism at the bottom of the connector. Slide it back a 1/4 inch and pull it out.
Remove the round rubber tube that connects to the filter housing. Unscrew and almost fully loosen the circular metal clamp holding them together. Twist the clamp a little bit. Now pull the tube off the housing.

Now you can remove the filter housing and change the filter.
