Angry All compartment doors are buckling

I purchased a 2017 Leprechaun 319MB last October. It has been in so many times for warranty work on water intrusion into the interior of the coach. From what I understand the techs tweaked, pulled, and twisted the doors on the frames, trying to get them to seal. It was finally discovered that they were missing some caulking around door frames. That fixed the water intrusion. Now, after my warranty is up, those same compartment doors are pooching out in the center, and it is very noticeable. All the compartment doors were perfectly flush until we had a little cold weather and then I noticed the pooching. I have the extended warranty, but I don't know if it will be honored for this. What could have possibly caused this, and should it still be covered under the original warranty? Thank you for any insight.

Caulking sealed the moisture in. My guess.

Thank you for your reply. If that's the case, and the repair work was done by the RV place, would that still be covered under warranty, even if the factory warranty is up?

If it were me, I would pursue this as a warranty claim.

Compartment doors

I had a similar problem, my fix was to add bracing straps.

Agreed. The worse they can do is say "No". The repair should have looked for water infiltration.

Since it's a 2017, I take it the initial repair was not done under the factory warranty but rather the third-party warranty?

I would try to work with both your dealer and Leprechaun. Good luck and let us know how things proceed.

X2^^^^

It is a continuation of the problem that arose during the covered time frame, it was never completely fixed, the warranty should apply.

If the dealer gives you grief, contact FR.

I agree that the original warranty should still cover this problem. The dealer did ask me if I purchased the extended warranty, which I did. So they may try to use that. The dealer said that they would work with me on trying to get warranty repair, but they weren't hopeful. I may have to contact Forest River myself, and see what they say. Even though it is a 2017 model, I purchased new. Price was right, but expected better quality build and good customer support, and got neither. Thanks for all of your responses.

I got Forest River to replace the buckled compartment doors. The main cabin coach door is buckling, but I haven't got them to replace that yet. I take it up today for replacement and paint, since I have the full body paint job. Forest River isn't admitting to anything, but the compartment doors all had the same build date sticker on them. I think they got a bad batch from their supplier.
