Andersen Camper Levelers

Has anyone tried/used these? I ran across them surfing on the internet and they seem like a pretty cool way to level the trailer. Just not sure if they really work and/or if there have been any issues with them.

Ordered a set last week from my dealer. He said they're the bomb. I'm new at this so anything that makes things easier I'm all for.

How would you chock your wheels? You may not need to with these but I think you better have something to block them.

I also ordered 2 of these. I searched online and found two sites that were low priced. Mudflaps.com and Bumper Superstore.com. Both sites are owned by the same people and have the same price. Both sites raised the shipping over $3 from when you put in your zip code on the shipping calculator from when you enter your credit card info. Seemed a little shady. For whatever reason Bumper Superstore had a much lower shipping charge even though they are the same company. I ordered from them from the site with the lower shipping. Today I get a call from the manufacture......Anderson Hitches. They are telling me that the site I bought from just takes the orders and the manufacture drop ships the product to the buyer. They also informed me that the site I bought from was advertising the older version that is no longer made. The new one is now red, bigger(wider) and no tether....but cost cost more....$39.99. Now I really feel like Bait and Switch. I trust the manufacture Anderson Hitches since he was the one calling me and informing me of the issue. I am surprised that the "seller" has not taken the time to contact me about an order they will never fill. They have my money already for a product they can't sell. I am not real happy right now!

Your right, that is a little shady. Shame on Anderson for not keeping up with their retailers and advising them on product changes. If that's the case then why doesn't Andersen just sell them directly, or drop retailers that are pulling the bait and switch.

I just found out the same thing. Mudflaps.com issued me a refund and stated they do not stock the old cheaper ones anymore. I ended up buying the new red ones for $49 a piece which included shipping and no tax. 3604 Andersen Camper Leveler

Anderson lists levelers at a $39.99 retail price on their website.

That is true but can't find them anywhere for that price. I paid $49 that included shipping. Best I could find, most were higher.

I was told by Andersen that they drop ship the product for a lot of dealers. He would not go into detail about how much the dealer pay....but he did inform me that their price INCLUDES shipping. He also informed me that they will not allow their dealers to advertise lower than $34.50 price..Everyone signs an agreement when they become a dealer. He was not aware of anyone still trying to sell the older model. He did mention some dealers might have some stock of the old models. He also went over the changes with me. The new ones sound a lot better. I would not want the old model.
Based on what he and I talked about. We should all be able to get them for around $35 with shipping included.....if we can find the right dealer.
I actually am a dealer....more of a car dealer but I have sold several RV's. I just wonder if he will let me become one of his authorized dealers. I should be able to meet all of his requirements since I am a licensed dealer in Michigan. If I can get this done.........anyone interested in getting an order together? I don't need to make a profit with this but if we can get them for under $35 and include shipping it might be worth it.

In Grand Haven and work in Holland.
Based on what the rep told me.....I can just order them and have them drop shipped right to the customer. I am waiting for someone to call me back from the company.
We might even be able to get them cheaper....I just won't be able to advertise a lower price than what there minimum price states in their agreement.
