Anybody else out there with upholstery fabric fails?

I'm have a huge problem with our upholstery...with delamination on our L-shaped sofa, our recliner and both captain's chairs. So far FR is turning a blind eye to the issue but I've spoken with the actual manufacturer (Williamsburg) who acknowledged a chemical omission or mistaken formula when fabric was produced...which was selected by FR.
While Williamsburg is apparently willing to sell new fabric at wholesale cost...the expense of reupholster maybe greater than purchasing new furniture. Oh...and Williamsburg no longer makes that furniture for Georgetowns. I'm hoping an appeal to FR will help resolve this problem

Yes it a big problem, they make it out of blended leather. It will eventually fall off

But what's the solution if Forest River won't help...at this point, all I'm asking is for FR to request Williamsburg to build new replacement sofa at least? Even if I have to pay for it...would seemingly be cheaper than reupholsery options...I can always replace the recliner with store bought equivalent (complementary fabric). They sell replacement captain chair covers either as 3rd party or by Williamsburg.

Seems to me there must be other FR customer out there with the same problem...what did they do to resolve? FR claims they are unable to support me due to the age of the motor home...but that's fine if it were dealing with "normal" stuff that goes wrong...in this case, THEY chose the fabric that is prematurely falling apart...it's not normal wear and tear...there should have been a recall or support policy that recognizes the manufacturer error and offers reasonable compensation for the hassle of repair.

One of our recliners on our 2018 Windjammer had a similar problem: it rubbed against the window screen while belted for travel, and rubbed the corner off of the chair. The same chair sort of fell apart: the arms splayed out causing the sides to push in, so then the footrest would no longer stay closed ...FR replaced the chair for the footrest problem, which solved the "fabric wear" problem, too. We have been ultra careful with our upholstery since we discovered its vulnerability!

I have a 2013 Mirada and my neighbor has a 2014 Mirada with the same problem. We contacted FR, sent pictures, and they replaced all the fabric. It was all cut, sewed and ready to install. We had to install it ourselves, which was not too hard. Did have to buy a hog nosed plier and clips. It was a year and a half ago and our contact was Tonyia Kopsick. .

This is an often discussed topic.
There have been many threads about this. It is nothing new.
Here is a link to some past discussions.
Forum search of: Upholstery Peeling.

Since you are asking about motor replacement and not fabric replacement you probably should start your own thread.

You will get more relevant responses to your question.

We are having the same problem. 2015 Cedar Creek. I have talked with Cedar Creek and they are refusing to help at all. I have left messages with Forrest River corporate office to return my call. Still waiting.
There are lots of folks out there with the same problem and to my knowledge, they have not received any help.

We have a 33 RETS Sabre 5th Wheel, 2015. Our Theatre Seating is peeling, the chair that I sit in is peeling where my head rests. But the other seat absolutely NO ONE sits in it (DH sits on couch), it is peeling in same area!!.

I throw a little throw over mine, nothing on other one. We would love to replace all the furniture, theatre seating and couch. Where DH sits on couch, he is sunk down in a hole. If anyone sleeps on pull out bed, they complain about the bar in their back. They are called BEST FURNITURE (??). So far we just suck up and deal!

No. I have to say the underlying structure in ours is solid and comfortable, but the bonded leather is crap.

Same thing on one of oour Lazy Boy recliners in our 282RK.
The chairs are great and comfy, but where your head rests, and especially in the summer and it gets hot and sticky, we do have the same peeling.
