Battery circuit breaker?

We have a new Salem cruise lite. On our first big trip we lost shore power due to a storm and realized our battery wasn’t working. It shows fully charged on the control panel, the disconnect switch is turned on, all the inside circuit breakers And fuses look good. What could we be missing? We tested the battery out before this trip and the lights and 12v fridge worked fine off of it. I know sometimes there’s a hidden inline circuit breaker running off the battery lines but we can’t seem to locate. Does anyone have a similar model with such a breaker factory installed or have any other ideas what the issue could be?

Does it show fully charged when not plugged into shore power?
The inline breaker will be on the frame near the battery.
It could have blown the reverse polarity fuses. They're usually in the power panel on the converter.

Post a pic or the model of your converter/power panel and we can tell you where to look.

It would also help to post the model of your RV.

P.S. Welcome to FRF

It’s a salem cruise lite 240bhxl. When the shore power is disconnected there’s no power to the control panel at all. I’ve looked under the frame by the battery and I don’t see anything that looks like a circuit breaker. This is our first TT so we’re pretty inexperienced with all this. Learning as much as we can as quickly as we can. Thanks for the help!

It won't look like a circuit breaker in the normal sense.
It'll look like the image below. It may have a rubber cover over it.
The little black button on the side is a reset. Press it in to reset it.

Did you check the inside fuse panel for the reverse polarity fuses, as was suggested?

I’m attaching pictures of the control panel, fuses, and what I found outside underneath. Nothing outside looks like a resettable circuit breaker. When plugged into just the battery we aren’t getting any power, even to the control panel lights. When plugged into shore power or the truck it shows the battery as fully charged. We have replacement fuses on us but do not have a voltage meter unfortunately.

look more closely at the metal thing on the right side with the three big red wires ( plus others) connected to it... that looks like the fuse...

That may be the CO/LP alarm fuse. It's powered directly off the battery.

Rsdata is correct.

Top pic. Look to the right of the metal junction box. The device with all the big red wires connected to it. That's the circuit breaker. There should be a small black button on one side of it. Press it and see if it resets.

If it doesn't have a button, that means it's supposed to be an Auto-Reset. However we see plenty of those that don't reset. You can usually find replacements at most Auto Parts stores. It's called a Short-Stop and the current rating will be printed on the side of it.
