I had a pair of Honda inverters 2000w paralleled. Sold them with the travel trailer and now have an Onan. If I needed to buy 30 amp generators again it would be a pair of 2000w Hondas. They are great.

I have two Honda’s, 2000i that I have used for ten years. They have been great. Buy what you like and can afford. Honda’s aren’t cheap

Just bought two with the pairing kit, I just can't or do not want to pay for a Honda, the cost for all with shipping was 1009.00 dollars, half the price of Honda's, I hope they will do the trick, plus I really don't need them that much but will be good to carry in the truck. All reviews o have read have been positive, so we will see.[emoji849][emoji196]

Any recommendations on oil? I guess they send you some, but I might as well get the best, and also I only camp in warm weather so I assume I can use a lighter weight, any ideas Thanks[emoji196]

They ship with "NO OIL" buy some oil that they Spec.run the gennys for a Few hours then Change to a Good Synthetic Oil! Warmer climates use allow for different Viscosity Oil! Run what the MFG recommends for Temp! Youroo!!

Harbor freight the 2000 watt predators, I was a dollar late, should have bought them last week for 429 each, the sale at that price is over but the new sale price was 449.00 and 49.00 bucks for the pairing cable. They have a 4000 max starting and 3200 watt running for 289.00 , but to heavy for my OLE butt. Compare that to Honda for 1999.00 , you can throw it away if it breaks.

I tend to be in the dual 2000w camp. Most times one will meet most needs and will run pretty long on a gallon of gas. These 2K units are light and very quiet.
Now, a good argument can be made about the new dual fuel Champion gen sets.
Now, to throw something else in the mix, with something like a MicroAir Easy start on the A/C, one could run the unit with a single 2000w gen.

I got mine at Home Depot for $999 and free shipping to my door. Here is the link. I have fired it up a couple of times and once I connected the loose wire the starter is working. It wasn't connected to the battery so an easy fix. It's really quite @ 59 db too! 4000 watts

Nice, except for the weight of 112# , not good for my OLE back, hope it works well for you. Seems once you start looking they have units as quite as Honda, and also at least half the price, so what is Honda charging for there name? I know people love them Honda's, but really is it that much better? I don't know but I guess time will tell on any forum. NOT sure if they are made in the USA, but if not I'm sure the prices will rise soon, just look at LG washing machine's. LG makes a great split system heat pump, will work down to zero without heat strips, the VA. has been installing them for years at there hospitals, I put one in at my homes new addition, been down to 5 degrees and still works great no loss of temp output. COME ON USA we have the smarts to build this but we don't. I wish they would make a HP. for trailers. There is a lot of good off brand products out there, that are a lot cheaper then major names. Good luck with your new genny.

You did see at the bottom of the coupon I posted the $429 price is good until 3/3/18 didn't you? (limit 5)
I'd be going back with that coupon and asking for a refund of the difference.

YES we do.
Heat pump systems have been around for many years. All A/C manufactures make them. Yes, they are available for RV's. All heat pump systems can make heat without heat strips. All heat pump systems need electric heat strips to make heat below 32 degress F. Your LG unit will work without strip heat down to 5 degrees C. Same thing. Below 32/5 the strip comes on and the compressor goes off.

Unfortunately, you can not use the 20% off coupon in conjunction with sale coupons, (such as the ones I posted) parking lot sales and certain Brand Name items.
That dang fine print on the bottom of the 20% off coupon covers it all if you get out the magnifying glass.
