Brake controller install

Hi all, I am getting ready to install a trailer brake controller in my 2005 Georgetown 326DS. It is on a ford chassis. Can anyone direct me to where the plug might be. I bought a ford adapter cable and was hoping to be able to locate the plug without doing a bunch of rewiring.
Thanks
John

It should be under the dash if it has one.

Try etrailer.com

They have a TON of vehicle specific instructions for just about every brake controller on the market.

The OP has a Motorhome, not a truck.

In any case there is a receptacle or a 4 wire pigtail under the dash by the column.

Get a hand mirror and a flashlight. It's hard on the neck and back searching fir the pigtail.
So far, in the past I've found most tow package ready Fords to have the plug in pigtail to your seated left of the steering column, like my 2008 Explorer. However, my 1998 F150 based Expedition had a built in the dash slot for a brake controller on the right, and the current Ford F-150 has it's factory trailer break controller also on the right between the steering column and the radio.
Bottom line: IF you have it, it's a crapshoot where to look ;(

UNLESS.....
Try looking for Utube install videos. That is what I did to narrow down my search. You'll need to know the Ford chassis used.
