Break away switch

My break away pin popped out when I was raising the hitch and now it won't go back in all the way. Is there a trick?

You might have to twist or turn it a bit to slip in. Normally a snug fit though.

Disconnect your battery until you have put back in as the brakes on the trailer will be energized and drain your battery.

There is a trick! Goes in part way and wiggle and push. It pops in!
