Cable question

Recently used cable for the first time at a campground. Hooked in to my "CABLE" outlet on driver side basement connection (see pic). TV in our living room seemed to work fine.

My question is, what's the deal with all the other connections? I know I have some TV options on my rig, but I don't understand what these connections are doing? The living room TV works fine without messing with the "LIVING ROOM" connection, so I am a little confused.

Are the others for Satellite feeds? You'd think they'd label it better.

I'm guessing straight through runs for satellite. Depending on where you locate your sat receiver.

Probably would help if you posted year, make and model of RV you have, since you don't have it listed in your profile.
I don't have anything like that in my TT.

I have the same setup and wondered the same thing.

There are a mess of splitters behind the wall in the basement. One of these days I plan to map it out.

Would be nice if they included a schematic.
