Cable/Satellite hookup

My camper has two external posts under the label for cable/satellite. Why are there two of them and does it make any difference which one the cable is attached?

Cable goes to your antenna booster for use when campground cable is provided.

Satellite is for use when you have an external dish connected and are using a satellite receiver. My satellite wire was loose behind the audio cabinet. I had to remove the radio and dig for it.

As Sahall said, the connections marked cable/sat go to the wall plate behind the tv with one coax marked "aux/sat" and another marked "tv". The aux/sat is from your sat antenna. The tv connection is from your ota antenna or the outside cable connection depending on whether you have the power switched on for the integrated ota amplifier. I have mine turned on in the photo. My model did not have the wall plate. I had to dig and find my satellite wire and install my own wall plate.

Apologies, we're relatively new to camping and still have a lot to learn

The outside connection plate usually positions the cable input on the left and the satellite input on the right. Easy to verify with an NSG (Nintendo Signal Generator):

Okay so similar question -I have a 2020 Forest River Cherokee Destination Trailer - there's an antenna on top and I think the TV in the living area is hooked up to it. My question is this - we bought another TV to set outside for football game watching on weekends and what not - how do I hook it up to the antenna that's on top of the trailer? Is it the coax line out? or something else? I have googled and cannot figure this out. Or can only one TV be hooked up to that antenna?

Have you looked in your right side storage bins for possibly a power receptacle and coax connection for a remote TV? If there is none then your park cable connection may work for the input to the outside TV (from the topside antenna) and power for the TV is wherever you can get it from (maybe the shore power pedestal with a drop cord).

There is a COAX and HDMI output outside I believe - we don't have a storage bin but it's on the outside of the camper next to the TV mount.
