First, welcome to the forum from just east of Toronto!
Obviously, you're buying a used trailer. My understanding is that if the trailer was originally imported into Canada from the manufacturer by a Canadian dealer, it will have the necessary certifications to be used in Canada. There should be a CSA sticker on the sidewall near the entrance door. Canadian certification by the manufacturer is a free "option" offered by Forest River brands.
If you buy an RV in the US and import it into Canada yourself, you have to take it to Canadian Tire to get proper certification before registering it in Ontario. I got this info several years ago though so it may be out of date now. Best to do some Google searching and verify with MTO/Service Ontario if you're buying the RV in the US and bringing it up here.
