Changing a tire.
Getting ready to adjust the brakes on our 2012 saber 31CKTS looked in the manual and it said not to jack up with the axles. Look in the manual but said nothing about where to place a Jacks and how to get the wheel off the ground. hope I never have a flat tire because not sure what I'll do. Any help on where to place the Jacks to get the wheel off the ground would be appreciated.

Not familiar with your model but I have some 6x6 cribbing that I place on the ground and use a 12 ton bottle Jack on the frame in front of the wheels. To be safe, use jack stands also.

Rightly or wrongly- on my Sabre with leaf springs, I opted to jack the tire up where the u-bolts go around the axles. I sometimes keep it on the axle itself (either between the u-bolts or just inside of the u-bolts) or on the u-bolt itself.
Otherwise, you need a bunch of cribbing to get the jack high enough to the frame. I'd also want something above the jack to spread the load out on the frame itself.
You might also look in to the Trailer Aid- a ramp device.

I think they don't want you placing the jack directly on the axle tube, but rather place some wood like a 4x4 between the jack and the spring shackles. this is JMHO and not fact

The issue they're trying to prevent, is if you jack on the axle away from any support you could dent or bend the axle tube and therefore ruin the axle. Those axle tubes are pretty thin and won't stand much stress at a small point such as a small jack head.
Jacking as ependydad shows, isn't too bad, but it would be better to jack directly on the frame. That takes a pretty long jack or a good bit of cribbing on some RV's.

I have a set of ramps that I built and place them in front of front set of tires. Drive up on them and that gets the back wheels off the ground. Then I move the ramps behind the back set of tires and back the trailer up to elevate the front tires.

Helps to have two bottle jacks. Takes quite a bit of lift to get tires off the ground, sometimes one jack doesn't have enough travel to get there.

How does 2 bottle jacks help if the issue is amount of travel?

Do not Jack. Ramp one wheel up with 2 x 8's until other wheel is off ground. Works great and very easy.

2 bottle jacks - use one to raise to full travel of the ram. Then use blocks to place the second bottle jack against the frame at the lower limit of travel. That gives you about 17" of new height capacity, and usually gets the tire off the ground. You'll have to lower the RV in two stages when you're done.
Another handy tool is an electric impact wrench. Not one that plugs into the lighter but an actual big heavy duty unit. Very nice to have on a motorhome with the generator right there, and those lug nuts are on tighter than a car (150 ft-lb or more vs 100 on a car). You have to use impact wrench rated sockets with that.

Don't use the ramps you will over load the 2nd tire.
Jack under the frame if able. Stack 6x6 or 4x4...
My trailer has a steel propane line positioned under frame, I can't jack under the frame on that side. I never had a problem jacking under axle.

A Camco Trailer Aid PLUS (with the pad for extra lift) works great. Best addition to my trailer, and at Wallys for around 39 big ones.
