Cherokee "Sanitizer" gadget not working

Hi all, just got my 2022 Wolf Pup BHS. Took it overnight for our inaugural trip. Loving it. There is a gimmicky gadget that was included in my package - the "Sanitizer", which essentially looks like a soap pump. I think it's purpose was hand sanitizer, but I prefer hand soap, since it's right next to the sink. Loaded it up w/ soap, got a pump or two of soap out, then nothing. It looks like it needs a "straw" that dips down to the bottom of the bottle (under the counter) but it didn't come w/ one. Anyone else have this feature? Does yours work? Did it come with a straw? It'd be great if it worked....one less thing on the counter. TIA.

The straw is press fit into the pump and may have come loose in transit. Check the bottle or under the sink on the floor. If not you can get some tubing at a big box store and cut it to the proper length.

I’m thinking you are going to need a piece of wire and a flashlight because the straw is most likely in the bottle, it just fell off the pump.

Wouldn't it be easier to unscrew the bottle like you were filling it? On a side note, we have this in our house and it's a life saver for me when cooking!

I always fill ours by lifting out the pump and using a funnel to fill the bottle. A lot easier than trying to get past all the stuff stored under the sink to remove and replace the bottle.

Well yeah, but if you dropped something in there would you fish it out from that hole or just remove the bottle?

yes, that is how I managed to fish it out. I do fill it from the top though - so glad they make them like that now!!!

I have one of those soap dispensers in my kitchen sink, in our stick & brick home. It was installed 11 yrs. ago when we remodeled the kitchen. Have always filled it from the top, have never lost the stem in the bottle. I believe the manufacturer is Kolher.
