Condensation
Just wondering if anyone has had a condensation issue on the bed frame over the storage area and if so what did you do to prevent it?
I'm getting condensation between the mattress and the particle board bed frame.
I have a Wildwood 32bhds stored in a shop and utilizing to sleep in while remodeling the house, so running the heater while in the trailer. Thanks in advance for any responses.

Buy a cheap dehumidifier on Amazon. You would be surprised at the amount of water it collects in a 24 hour period. Heater is fine but it won't do much for the humidity. Heater+dehumidifier is the way to go. We bought & have been happy with: Ivation GDM20 Thermo-Electric Dehumidifier. It was around $40.

I have also heard a few people use the foam insulation board to make a better air gap between the hot mattress and cold storage area. I also second the dehumidifier.

Yep this could be really bad. Might as well run a vehicle in the shop....maybe a little safer than that...hope the doors are all open. Good luck op! I think condensation would be a moot point.

The condensation under the mattress comes from the moisture from your body penetrating the mattress and condensing on the cold bed frame. You can add a 1/2" insulating foam board under the mattress or a moisture proof mattress cover. Also put a swimming pool noodle between the head of the mattress and the wall to allow the moisture to evaporate. You can also use a fan to circulate air and prevent moist spots.

Condensation
Good grief. Yes the doors are open. Thanks for the concern though!
Honestly, is there that much of a concern running the furnace in a shop with both bay doors open and all windows open? I figured between the draft and the size of the shop running the heater was a moot point.
If I'm wrong please correct me.

I would still not do it. In your example, lack of wind would be a bigger concern. It does not take much CO to cause problems.

Thanks. I really didn't think it would be a big deal. But I will grab an electric heater, my luck is if someone warns you it's gonna happen if you don't react.
