Crack in front skirting

Small crack in front skirt DH want to back it with some epoxy and fiberglass. Does anyone know if epoxy is safe on skirt? It says not to use on certain plastics & we are not sure what it is made of, any thoughts? He dosen't want crack to get bigger.

Not a great pic, the crack is small and just starting we want to nip it in the bud so to speak.

You need to drill a small hole at the end of the crack to stop it travelling anymore.

I agree with drilling the hole to terminate the crack. Then to fill and strengthen the existing crack I would apply "Marine Tex" white. You can get it from Amazon or local hardware or marine supply stores.
