Dehumidifier
Anyone out there using a small dehumidifier that you are happy with? I have a small space, Leprechaun 220QB.

Yes, love our 30 pint Frigidaire. Our trailer is small, the box is only 17.6' long. Not a drop of condensation in the trailer when we run it, even when it's quite cold outside. The problem was usually at night before humidifier. Even with our very small space, I can put dinette table down and park it between the benches out of the way. When the Murphy bed is folded up, I relocate it to the end of the kitchen counter. It is smaller than my home 50 pt model, and lighter.

Another Frigidaire dehumidifier user here. I put it in the trailer during periods of high humidity when I'm not going to be using the trailer for a while.
Used one in my last TT and it was mold/mildew free after 22 years.
If one has really high humidity one place to put it is in the tub/shower. Most condensate containers have a provision for attaching a garden hose but in the tub/shower you can just leave this open and condensate will run into grey tank. If RV is not being used just drain grey tank and leave valve open. Condensate will just drip out like it does from the bottom of a car/truck when the A/C is running.

FWIW, these are really best used in smaller almost sealed environments. I use one in my gun safe and even though it's near air-tight I have to "renew" it about every two weeks during the "wet season".

I can see them maybe working in a gun safe, but their 500 cubic feet claims for my model are ludicrous. As I mentioned in my review above, they were only capable of absorbing less than 8 tablespoons of water between the two of them before they reached saturation color.

Recently purchased an Ivation 14.5 pt compressor style dehumidifier. Low current draw, small footprint. Seems to pull a lot of water out of the air. Had previously used electronic types which do work but nowhere near as good as compressor type. This doesnt seem to throw off much heat either

I have a 32' trailer and use a 30 pt. Works great and produces heat at the same time.

I also use a Frigidaire 30 pt model.
Frigidaire FAD301NWD Energy Star 30-Pint Dehumidifier
It works very well for us and keeps the air moving when it is parked in our rv building. Seems fairly energy efficient as well.

I do not recommend the very small solid state dehumidifiers. I tried one in a popup I had a while ago and over a period of one month in the summer it removed less that 2 cups of water. I now use a 30 pint compressor model with the continuous drain run through the floor under the shower and a remote temp/humidity monitor. On very humid summer days inside humidity runs about 45%
