delamination after recalled skylight replacement
Hello
A couple of years ago I started a thread on receiving a skylight recall letter due to cracks for our 2012 Roo. There was evidence of water droplets in the skylight from the small cracks. Since then, we had the skylight replaced and at the time the dealer said there were no signs of any water damage.
Well... just last week I noticed a small (about 3 by 5 inches) delamination on the exterior wall, top edge of the exterior wall close to where the skylight sits. It is a very slight bubble, so it may have been there awhile and not noticed. I suspect it may have formed from water leakage from the original cracked skylight. I have inspected the roof and inside the bathroom and see no signs of any current leaks.
Is it possible delamination could just be appearing now from a leak in the skylight 2 years ago? As it is now i do not see a reason to repair, but my concern is that it may grow larger ( I currently have it outlined with tape to see if it may grow larger) Should I contact FR concerning coverage for repair since it was a recall issue or just keep an eye on it?
Anyone else who was involved in the skylight recall have similar issues?
Thanks
