Dinette, 2014 Columbus 325RL

Hello, I am still figuring out and going through our 2014 Columbus. We've had it for 5 days and have been undoing some of the previous owners cob jobs! My wife made a comment about the dinette moving around. I don't think it's right and it looks like it had screws in the feet of the table once upon a time, although you can't see it in the carpet. Can someone please verify that it should or shouldn't be screwed down? And if anyone has ever had the table moved or removed for any reason can you tell me how long the screws were? I am a bit concerned about going to far but also not far enough and having them pull out. Thank you!!!

I'm pretty sure it should be screwed down - but a note of CAUTION...if you choose to put screws back into it, make sure they're not too long. I know someone who replaced the screws in his (can't remember why) and he used longer screws.

Once he pulled the slide in - the screws jabbed into the floor covering and completely shredded it to the point he had to replace his flooring.

As far as how long - I can't say for sure, but his actually went through the bottom of the slide (he discovered after the catastrophe).

Hello, yes I posted this for that very reason. I didn't want them to get ripped out but also didn't want the scenario you described. I'm not sure why the previous owner unscrewed it unless it was to make room. I'll have to see if I can get an answer from the manufacturer. Thank you for the feedback!
