Does your 2018 2507s outside kitchen gas burner slide scrape the base?

On Friday we will pick up our 2018 2507s and we are first time TT owners. I did a pre-inspection last week and identified multiple scrape marks at the base of the outside kitchen's gas burner. In other words, everytime the burner is swung out of the kitchen compartment, it scrapes the base. I identified this as an issue to be corrected. I was told today by the Sales Manager that his lead technician says that what has been scraped is a teflon coating on the base, that it is normal, and there's nothing they can do about it. I saw another 2018 model on their lot and I don't recall this scraping. For owners of this model, is this indeed normal?

I don't need to own your model, IMO there should never be any scraping of anything, come on dealer, STEALER, or FR. What BS.

I just checked mine and it clears. It rubbed on the back part of the outdoor kitchen, but not on the bottom.
