Dometic A/C help please.

Not sure if this has been covered in previous post but maybe someone has had the same problem and could offer some help.
A/C cooling fine but when it reaches the desired temperature and shuts down, it immediately kicks back on and trips the breaker. Any Ideas and comments greatly appreciated! And please hurry!! Forecast 100 degrees coming up😓LOL

Year, Make, Model?

There is supposed to be a delay circuit to keep that from happening. Sometimes in the thermostat, sometimes in the A/C unit itself.

A quick possible fix is to remove the thermostat, unplug the wiring for 5 minutes, then re-plug and refit the thermostat. This will reboot the microcontroller in the thermostat.

Like all computers, they get wonky from time-to-time.

Usually a decent internet search will lead you to factory owner and service manuals. Location of the delay circuit should be there.

A temporary work-around is to set the thermostat to absolute minimum. When the temp. gets a few degrees lower than you would like it, turn the unit off. When the temp. rises to the point where you want A/C again, turn it on.

If you take off the return grill and look inside the AC unit you should find the model #.
