Dometic Fridge - What's This?

Hi! We bought our R-Pod 179 used, and inside the fridge was this item. I read the Dometic owners manual and see no reference to it. Anyone know what it's for? (I'm thinking something to do with the fins, but the plastic teeth don't line up with them!?) Thanks...

I saw an R-Pod at an RV show, something like that was in the shelves on the fridge door. Wonder if it's meant to keep items in place? See pic below an look at part 6, listed as a bottle holder.
