Dometic T-stat

Our Salem has the dometic 3316410 t-stat showing E-3 (indoor temp sensor shorted). Do we replace the t-stat, overhead control, both, or what?
Thanks for any and all help.

I looked thru the manual for that stat it really doesn't say however I would think the indoor air sensor would be located at the return air and be able to replace it only. Give dometic a call and see what they have to say.

The indoor temp sensor on that unit should be on the board. Pull the cover off and look in the lower right corner. You should see a small device with a bulbous end.
