Door locking issues (Handle and deadbolt)

Looking for some advice as I'm having issues with the locking mechanism on my Shasta Oasis 18BH. I'd assume the locking mechanism is similar to most other Forest River products.

Anyways, the lock itself doesn't seem to be lined up with the hold on the door frame, therefore, the deadbolt won't engage and the keylock on the handle itself will move to the lock position, but it won't lock the door.

Any advice or anyone else have the same issue before?
