Drawer latch

Hi all
I have a 2013 sunseeker and the latch to hold one of the drawers closed releases the drawer and then Relatches itself so the drawer will not fully close nor stay shut. I pried it open a couple of times but it relatches itself once the drawer is released every time now. I've pulled it off - it is a "Decorite 5838." Has anyone else had this issue? Is it related to alignment during assembly so it's correctable or do I need to buy a new latch?

Hi Malinda, we have the same issue in our 2012 sunseeker. Did you ever find a solution? When I pried it open it worked a few times but then it completely broke and I need to find a replacement latch. It's also a "Decorite 5838". Thanks in advance!

Sorry for the delay in response... I put in a latch from Camping World similar to the latches on the cabinet doors. They come in boxes of two and are still cheaper than replacing with the original style latch. When I was at a factory tour I mentioned that the latch had failed (my Sunseeker was 2 months on the road then) the rep gave me a handful of the drawer latches. I have another drawer getting grumpy about re-latching after the drawer is open. I will use up the latches they gave me then most likely return to buying the style on the doors.
