Drawer Slides - Minilites

I have a 2016 Rockwood Minilite 2306 (23' bunkhouse without slides).

After some investigation and emails with the slide manufacturer, I've figured out the drawer slides. I've had one go real bad and replaced it with one online. It flies open all the time when driving. I also have a second one that's going bad.

The intent is a drop-in replacement with the same lock-closed feature of all my other drawers. I'd assume rockwood / Forest River uses these same slides "most everywhere".

They're a Hardware Resources #307FU.

They don't sell them, but I've found build.com has them for <$10ea and reasonable shipping at $6-ish.

Here is a link for a 12", but they have other lengths.

Thanks for that.
I removed one of my drawers and all the bearings fell out when it came out. Couldn't find these slides anywhere.

My 2020 model year (late 2019 build) ML 2507S doesn't have locking drawer slides. They used a simpler approach of mounting a drawer catch on the bottom edge of the drawer opening in the cabinet, and the back side of the drawer face frame. We had a drawer that wouldn't stay closed. Replacing the cabinet door catch worked.

Well, I hope it helps with your disintegrating slides. I bought spares to have on hand.

On the latches.....more than one way to skin a cat. I'd likely have to make mounting provisions. The stock slides are no more expensive than any other, so if I have to replace one or two every 5 years....I'm all set.

:-)

Regarding mounting provisions, you may find there's a gap between the panel that is the bottom of the drawer, and the opening of the face frame. No accommodations needed. The receiver just screws into the face frame with the other piece mounted directly onto the back of the drawer face.

Of course, there is no reason to consider that if you already have a plan.

We own a 2015 FR FS Micro Lite 23LB. The large drawer under the sink would always open while traveling. I replaced the slide with an off-the-shelf slide from a big-box store. The slide I chose was the same length, but had a soft close, detent feature. It holds the drawer closed when traveling and pulls the drawer closed nicely. I used the same slides for the pantry drawers I built for the lower closet space. Cost was about $22/set, but worth the investment and time.

The 23LB is the same/sister trailer as ours. I hate that big drawer. Wish it was 2 shallower drawers.

In our 25KS Micro Lite we also have a deep drawer that is great for large items IF you have large items to use it for, but smaller items would get lost in it, ..... below is our solution, still have depth of the original drawer IF needed, but also a convenient holding area for smaller items, this works great for us, ....

Nice. What is the width of your drawer and part number of your sliding caddie?

The inside width is 19 1/2", the white basket, which has a perfect fit after using that size support blocks on each side, is from Walmart, .... they have several different sizes of that style of basket, we've used this size in several other applications in our trailer, ...

I decided this last year that I'd build a sliding silverware bit for it. She as the tray, but bigger, for a silverware tray....
