E450 2016 Can't release from Park

we have a new 2860 DS 1000 miles went to drive it and can't get it our of park. We tapped the brakes lights went on - was then told to turn ignition one position to try and move the shift lever, didn't work. At a loss we were told to have it towed to ford. One one other point is we have Big Foot leveling and one of the lights left front was blinking the instructions said it could be because it is on un-level ground - the RV sits on a 3 inch bead of gravel so it is pretty level. But was told be that that is unrelated to the shifting issues. Help

Unless there is a safety interlock, it thinks the jacks are down so it will not ket you move? Just a guess ? Dealers don't known all the features.
