Electric fireplace works on 120VAC.
Furnace works on 12VDC.

Do you have any paperwork for your fireplace that might indicate what a beep would be for? The furnace should have nothing to do with your fireplace. You sure it’s not the CO alarm or smoke alarm making the beep?

X2. Never heard a fireplace that beeped. I'm betting it's an alarm sensor beep, a detector low battery indicator beep, or a co expired life beep.

Just wondering if maybe if the fireplace is set to a temperature, after it goes off, then goes, back on, it beeps. Try just turning on the fireplace to just high and see if it still beeps. Just a thought.

I'm betting it is a CO or smoke detector that is beeping. The origins of their sound can be elusive. It may be time for a replacement.

Please let us know what FR tells you.
I was just down at the local RV service shop (they have good coffee that attracts us old farts) and they said that yes, some electric fireplaces will beep when any control button on the unit or the remote is pushed. You can turn off the beep on some units with the remote or something like pressing the timer button for 5 seconds.
So look up the online owners manual for your particular fireplace and see what it says. If there is no beep turn off, you can always find the mechanism on your fireplace and disable it.
Happy camping!

No it's new 2020.i can see the flash of the screen on the fireplace when it beeps. Spent the weekend looking for the issue couldn't find it. I found one small pamphlet about the fireplace.

Yep, that would be aggravating at night! Have you looked at the fireplace manufacturer's website for an operating manual or a number to call?

Each response seems tailored to direct the customer to the correct contact for their unit. I, too, would like to hear how well this worked out for the customers. I'm really glad to see Forest River making this effort.

Talking Bust the Dust

Dust will cause the fans to stop or coils to burn and trigger the auto-shut-off.

It is usually this causing the issue.

Solution: Get a really good leaf blower (I love my Rigid jobsite blower) and blow the crap out of it in front and from the air intake behind. Then Swiffer duster it and blow it again. This usually does the trick. Probably good to do once or twice a year.

I disassembled my fireplace and found the culprit. Ran a drill bit into it and killed it. Here’s what your looking for. Our unit beeped every time a function was pressed on the unit or remote.
