Electric stabilizer stuck in up position

The front electric stabilizer on my Rockwood signature ultralight is stuck in the up position.

The problem is not the motor. I removed the motor and it is working fine.

I cannot lower the stabilizer manually.

Any idea as to what to look at first?

Thanks.

I've seen the pin snap when retracted all the way.
One of the reasons I marked mine and leave them down about an inch.

If a snapped pin could cause a jam, can you describe where I should look? I aint got no idea.

And thanks for the quick replies.

Take a crow bar and pry both leg free from each end, then try your electric again.....when bringing stabilizers up, a lot of people jam them tight and then these will not come down......
