Electric Stablizer Jacks

Did our first 34 degree rainy 4 day stay in North part of Texas Near Denton. Loading the RV up and the front Stablizer Jack would not go up. Like it had no juice. It would go down but not up. My question is for everyone is there a way to get it up without taking it apart and rachetstrap it up?

Chances are your jack is made by Lippert. Look in the leveling and stabilization manual for your model to find out how to manually operate it. If some other manufacturer, find their manuals.

If it would go down but not up, that sounds like a problem with the switch.

In an emergency you should be able hook the power wires up backward and then it will go up but not down.

Can you post a picture of the jack and the switch?
