Exterior Parts

have a 2006 Georgetown 340 TS/SE. There is an aluminum trim piece with a vinyl insert that covers the attachment screws. The trim piece is 33 feet long and attaches to the passenger and driver side of the Georgetown and forms a weather barrier when the slides are retracted. The section I need to replace is the section under the Main Slide, drivers side, that is 13' feet long and is damaged.

The pictures I have included are from the Kitchen slide, however the materiel and attachment is identical.

I am trying to determine three things:

1) What is this called?
2) Where can I get a replacement section?
3) Is there a safer option using similar material?

I am trying to find a point of contact in Forest River. I have the phone number, but hard to as for a part if you do not know what it is called. I refuse to use the word(s) "THINGY".

I am not opposed to replacing the OEM material with a product that is not as dangerous when the slides are extended.
