Fake hardwood flooring... How to remove?

Is it attatched with glue? Loose? Thinking of installing quiet warmth heating film under.

Doubtful it is attached down...should be floating. The few I have replaced in my RV's are not attached. The exception is if it goes under a slide then in this case the edge under the slide will be.
Whether you can remove it and not damage it depends. Then again a great time to put in new if you like..and you have a pattern already from the old.

Mine was a 2008....but I don't think it matters. Glue=additional/unnecessary cost. Unnecessary costs to manufacture RV=lower profits. Hence- I don't think you will find much glue for flooring in RV's.

I had to have the floor repaired in a unit back in 2009 and the Service Manager told me the floors are glued around the edges only.

Luckily we had none in ours....and we had a 12' hallway on the edge/side of our RV and a living room with vinyl where the patio door is. No glue whatsoever. Guess we got lucky.

My fake hardwood is not glued but an easy way to tell is to test it with a vacuum cleaner. The vacuum will lift it if it's not glued. Mine lifts right up.

It's probably not glued. Due to the huge temperature and humidity swings inside an RV if it were glued it could swell and buckle.
