Fenders

I have a 2018 Riverstone 39FK. I had a tire blowout do some damage to the body. Are fenders available to prevent damage?
For me this is a serious construction flaw, not having fenders to prevent body damage.
If fenders are available, please provide information on where to get them.
Thank you.

You can either use the Contact Us on the Forest River website for Riverstone or you have to go through a dealer to get them ordered.

As for the construction flaw, it's been this way for a long time. Doesn't make it right, of course.

I have found that my tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) has protected me by alerting me to the flats before they can come apart.

I believe that the question was.....

Are fenders available to prevent damage?

I have not seen any standard fenders that Prevent body damage. imo, the plastic fenders are for 'looks' only. After market fender sites will say that the fenders help 'protect' from rain and debris....

But they will never say that it will help prevent damage from a Gatoring tire that is smashing the underbelly and side skirts and body and ripping up the flimsy 'fenders'.

this would be the closest for 'protection' if able to mount above your wheels is the best I could find

Has anyone used something like this inside their wheel well???

Thank you.

I had a blowout on my 1980 Class C years ago. Busted all that cheap flimsy plastic to bits in no time flat (pun intended). We had plastic inside the storage compartments for years after that! I made my own fender liners from metal building siding scraps. It was a pain to bend them but I felt better about the damage that would be avoided if we had another incident of that type! We never did and now someone is living in it permanently so they will never be tested.
