Floor repair from leak

My camper Cherokee Limited 27WK

The floor in front of the stove, (slide out) is soft and the plywood needs to be repaired. I took the camper to a local RV repair to see where the leak was coming from, not a plumbing issue. It only leaks when the slide out is closed. They replaced the seal and re-caulked. It did rain yesterday and when we went in, there was still some water on the floor and the carpet in the slide out was damp.

Not sure if the leak has been found and repaired, will have to wait and see. Lucky for us we have indoor storage

the main question is the repair happen right in front of the slide out. there is a piece of plastic above the floor. how does one go about repairing the floor in that area? Anyone have some tips? most of the repair is out in the floor area, just the area right by where the slide out stops, when open, looks to be the tricky part
