Check the sticker on the side of the trailer and it should show the weight of fresh water when tank is filled (including the hot water tank). Divide this weight (in pounds) by 8.2 and then subtract 6 for the water in the hot water tank.
Now see how close the results are to the brochure claim.
Cqn also measure tank Length, height, and Width to determine capacity in cubic inches.
Then divide by 231 and you'll have the theoretical capacity.
Some cap. loss due to placement of outlet to water pump and vent line fitting but it will give you an idea of how much to expect.
