Furnace -25 degrees reading

Took ownership of our cedar creek this week and furnace ran great three times, it’s cold this morning in wisconsin and I went to start it so we can begin to pack and the living room temp states it’s -25 degrees F and the furnace won’t kick on when I turn it on. Bedroom reads correct temp. Wondering if any suggestions to correct this problem. I imagine It doesn’t want to start because the reading is so low, when it’s actually around +20 out. Thanks

Thanks for letting us know what you did to fix it even though you didn't get any posts before you figured it out.

Glad it was as simple as resetting the thermostat.
