Furnace and Hot water tank won’t ignite
Woke up this morning and realized our furnace has not been working through the night. We have propane. I did a test and the hot water tank will not ignite either. It works fine on electric. I’m thinking pressure regulator. Any other ideas? We are stationary for work in western PA. I’m gonna need heat LOL.

I would first try turning the gas bottles valves Off. Then slowly turn a gas bottle valve ON, they all have a built in leak detector valve on and if you turn them on too quickly the leak detector valve may operate and block the flow of gas.
I would test the gas flow with the burners on the stove and see if you can get one to light first. If you get a burner to light then let it run for a couple of minutes to get possible air out of the gas lines.
Turn off the furnace before you start any of this. The furnace will only try to light three times with the DSI, if it fails to light it will lock itself out and will not try to light again. Turning it Off will reset it and will try three more times.
Good luck.

If the system was recently filled you probably have air in the lines. The auto ignition on furnace and heater usually doesn’t activate long enough to purge the lines.
Turn on and light all the cook stove burners. Then shut off and restart the water heater, then the furnace.

Use a meter (not the idiot lights on your panel) to test the charge level on your battery (use). Neither of these appliances will run with sufficient 12vDC charge.

Does the stove light and burn correctly?
Will all the stove burners light and burn at the same time?

Just keep trying. If it doesn’t light with auto ignition after 3-4 attempts (auto), it shuts down and you have to remove the power and start over.

Your furnace is probably in lock out for failure to light. Turn off your thermostat then go to your electrical panel in the RV pull the 12 volt fuse for the furnace let it out for 30 seconds then put it back in. Turn on thermostat furnace should light.

If you cant address this in the next few hours, keep in mind that an electric ceramic heater will go a long way keeping your living area warm. Unfortunately it wont help with your underbelly.
Good luck.

We do have a space heater plus the fireplace. So we’re good for now. I just need to get this resolved before the cold front moves in next week.

As Rich said in post 12...definitely sounds like an air lock. Do the fuse thing. It could take two or three trys but it should work

Can you hear sparking/clicking near the furnace or outside furnace vent when you turn it on?
Tell us exactly what happens when you first turn the furnace on and how long it runs after it doesn't lite and then what you do to try it again.
These are important things to know when helping to diagnose furnace issues.

Ok. I turn the furnace on. The blower kicks on and runs for approx 15-20 seconds then shuts off. No, the igniter doesn’t click nor can I hear the click of the gas valve opening.
