Georgetown Recessed Lights

Our Georgetown is the first rig we have had with the recessed lighting. Does anyone know what type of bulb they use for the recessed halogen lights and how to replace them? I would love to replace them with LED bulbs but don't know what to buy. I have tried pulling straight down on the lens of the lights but just pulled the can out of the ceiling. Also tried to turn the lens but no luck, can't figure out how to get to the bulb in these things. Anyone know how to do it?

We have two of the recess type lights in our slide over the sofa. The lens is similar to a bayonet type bulb. You have to kinda palm it and turn it slighty to the left (counterclockwise) to get it to release. I didn't have anything better to do one Sunday while watching a NASCAR race and decided to try and remove it. I believe it is a wedge bulb similar to the 921.

Just as cfsoistman said, they are bayonet type and the number is 921. We had to replace one of ours above the sofa. walmart carries them.

LOL, thanks Charlie. I guess boredom can lead to good things once in a while. I did the same thing one day on our maiden voyage with the rig last year but couldn't figure it out. That is something FR could put in their "manual" which isn't really obvious.

KVtaylor: Thanks for the info. I plan to convert them all over to LED if I can to extend my battery life while dry camping. The Halogen bulbs take quite a bit of power and put out a lot of heat, not good if you are dry camping and it's hot already.
