Grizzly T10435 Wheel Chock vs. BAL 28012 X-Chock Tire Locking Chock

Happy Fourth everyone!

Has anyone looked at the Grizzly wheel chocks? Seems like the same concept as the BAL, but quite a bit less in price ($24.95 vs. $74.25 on Amazon). I only know one person who has the Grizzly and he thinks they work good. Am I getting more the money or just less in my wallet?

Thanks for any & all input!

I wrestled with x chocks for years...spend the Xtra cash and get Rotochoks. Wish I had done it a long time ago. Easy and quick to use.

Rotochocks would be great, but I don't camp enough to spend that much.

I built a pair of wheel chocks using the same idea as these. You use a 1/2" pipe clamp with an 18" piece of pipe and they are tool less. I have less than $30 in both of them. I bought the pipe clamp ends from Harbor Freight for $5.99 each, the 1/2" threaded pipe from Lowe's for $3.50 each, 1 stick of 4x4 and about an hour of time. Used them last week and they work great.

Don't see any advantage to Roto chocks over the Bal X Chocks. I've used the Bal's for 8 yrs with no problem. Got them in Weslaco, TX, $49/pr in 2006.
