Groan / Creak Noise Underneath TT

Good morning all, I have a 2018 Salem Cruise Lite 263BHXL and since purchased I have had a loud noise from underneath while walking through the trailer. It is while set up on level ground, slide out, leveled, stabs down and walking from kitchen to bedroom. Took this in for warranty and Forest River would not cover it at my local dealer. (Within my 1 year) Dealer was given options and performed minimal repair that didn’t do anything. Long story short, Im probably going to have to fix myself. So...has anyone heard this before?

That's really weird. If you reach up, can you feel the floor flexing?

To me it sounds like the crossmembers flexing. Get a couple jack screw stands and put under the frame around where the sound is coming from and see if you can't eliminate by applying slight upward pressure. Move the stands around and see if you can't change or eliminate the sound. Once you narrow down, then you can try to eliminate through some type of fix, depending on what's causing. That's where I would start.

I can feel the floor flexing as i walk slightly, but was told that was normal joint flex in the sheets. This sound seems more of a metal on metal sound. I will have to try the jack stand idea for sure! FR just called me back and said I could bring it down to them in Los angeles and they would still work on it, but thats a 4 hour drive so I think im still fixing it myself.

Generally speaking, most RV floor joists are close enough together, spacing wise, that you shouldn't have any squeaking or flexing issues.
Now, to achieve squeaks and floor movement, the floor must either be flexed upwards by some force or is loose underneath by either screws missing the cross members as the RV was assembled or there are cross member structure components that are broken loose and flexing. Seeing vids of these things under construction with the kid bent over shooting screws at one every couple seconds with no particular guidelines that can be seen in the vid, I wonder if he actually gets 50% of the screws into the frame members under the floor.

Honestly, every RV I've ever had has at least one spot on the floor that creaks or groans when walked over. And no, I'm not that heavy
Some of them I could fix underneath with screws. I have one in the kitchen of our current RV that I have just given up on. I just named it Harvey and learned to live with it
